  • CPD: Focus on the Practice Team, Leicester Football Stadium - 11th October

    We’re delighted to be bringing back Robin Launder, who wow’d audiences at our 2017 Congress with his high energy presentation on creating positive mindsets.

Yorkshire Region

We are delighted to welcome Lisa Winter who has joined our team of Regional Organisers.

Lisa held her first meeting on the 16th March 2016 which was well received in Yorkshire.

Lisa scheduled three further meetings to run for the remainder of the year.  The first of these was held on the 14th September which was extremely well received, and had Guest Speaker Carolyne Crowe in attendance.  The second was held on the 11th October with Guest Speaker Diane Horner, and her final meeting was on the 7th December with Doug Muir as the guest speaker. 

Lisa's first meeting of 2017 was held on the 26th April at Askham Bryan College, York.  The meeting ran as an open floor discussion with popular topics to be discussed.

I am currently an RVN with over 20 years’ experience in the animal care/veterinary industry, including equine, small animal and mixed practice. I hold a BTEC & NVQ in Business Management level 3.

A small animal practice on the Yorkshire coast is where I spent over 15years of my career. quickly progressing from trainee nurse to then become head nurse and then practice manager. I also have experience in clinical coaching and teaching.

I have recently joined the fabulous Onswitch to fulfil my passion for excellent customer service and to support the veterinary industry in providing an exceptional customer experience. Home is the East Coast with my husband and two children, Harry and Maisy. My Horse Pebbles, Kelpi cross Missy, Labrador Nell and my very large Cat "Porky corky".
